Recipe: Cranberry Orange Chocolate Bark

Ingredients:

1 Organic soy-free dark chocolate bar (at least 75% cacao)

½ cup organic dried cranberries

3-5 drops orange essential oil

Optional: sliced almonds

Directions:

  1. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate bar until completely smooth.
  3. While still hot, add in the dried cranberries and orange oil (I like a decent amount of cranberries in my bark but you may want to decrease the amount you use).
  4. Stir until thoroughly coated. I like to add in almonds to add more protein and sustenance and give it more of a brain booster, but it is optional.
  5. Pour mixture onto parchment paper covered cookie sheet and spread decently thin. Place into the freezer until solid (usually a few hours).
  6. Once it has hardened, remove from freezer and break apart.
  7. This bark can soften pretty quickly so you will want to store it in the fridge until you serve it.
